Mary Smith

Mary Lee Fox Smith, 77, of Turners Station, KY, died on Monday, August 2, 2021, at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton.

She was born on July 28, 1944, in Owsley County, KY, the daughter of the late Simon Fox, Sr. and Dolly Carmack Fox.  She was a homemaker and a member of the English Baptist Church.  Mary enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and doing all kinds of crafts.  She loved teaching the grand babies and great grand babies how to do things

Mary is survived by her husband, Roger D. Smith of Turners Station, KY, three daughters, Sandy Kindoll and her husband, Tic of Carrollton, KY, Shannon Sparks and her husband, Mike of Carrollton, KY, and Monica Daniel and her husband, Mark of Turners Station, KY, a brother, Simon Fox, Jr. of Carrollton, KY, three sisters,  Stella Jackson of Carrollton, KY, Wilma Hensley of Carrollton, KY, and Loretta Thevenow of Madison, IN, five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Taylor, George, and Delmar Fox, and two sisters, Gertrude Smith and Wanda Fox.
