Mary Lewellyn

Mrs. Lewellyn, 78, of Carrollton, KY., died on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at the Carroll County Regional Medical Center in Carrollton, KY.

She was born on March 29, 1929 in Prestonville, Carroll County, Ky to Gilbert and Annie (Whitaker) Whitaker who preceded her in death. She was a retired factory worker from Teledyne Wirz Plant in Carrollton having been one of the first 40 year employees. She was a member of the Family Worship Center in Carrollton.

She is survived by two sons, Larry Lewellyn and Tony Lewellyn both of Carrollton, KY, a brother, Ray Whitaker of Dayton, OH., and three grandchildren, Tim, Ross and Susan Lewellyn. She is preceded in death in addition to her parents, two sisters, Margaret Parker and Zula Michael, four brothers, Willis, Earl, Louis and Hansel Whitaker.

The Rev. Pat Butcher and Rev. Rick Nickels officiated the funeral service on Friday, August 10, 2007 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.

The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
