Mary Lowrance

Mary Katherine Taylor Lowrance, 97, of Madison, IN, formerly of Carroll County, KY, passed away April 30, 2018, at Haven Hospice, Orange Park, FL.

She was born on November 20, 1920, in Carroll County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Arthur Creed and Catherine Maddox Mathews Taylor.  She was retired from the Madison State Hospital after 31 years of service.

She is survived by one son, Harry L. Lowrance (Barbara) of Madison, IN, and one daughter, Sharon A. Dupont (Larry) of Orange Park, FL; one sister, Johanna Nees of Terre Haute, IN, one sister-in-law, Marsha Taylor of Milton, KY, six grandchildren, Melissa Holt (Rob) of Madison, IN, Tracie Richards (Todd) of Madison, IN, Andrew Dupont (Tabitha) of Mt. Airy, MD, Mary Dupont of Fairfax, VA, Erin Dupont of Sunnyvale, CA, and Abbie McAward (Ryan) of Raleigh, NC, and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold S. Lowrance, her parents, her sisters, Daisy Thompson, Eula Harmon, Anna Frances Grobmeier, Fay Davis and Ella Jean Hardin and two brothers, Clyde and Fred Taylor.
