Mary Mitchell

Mary Mildred (Hill) Mitchell, age 95, of Carrollton, KY died Friday, January 27, 2017 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital.  She was born on July 24, 1921 in Carrollton, KY to Edward G. and Margaret Schinilaw Hill.  She was a member of St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church and a retired registerd nurse having worked at the former SDt. anthony Hospital in Louisville and the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, IN.

She is survived by a brother, James F. (Shirley) Hill of Carrollton, KY, two nieces and three nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Emmett Jesse Mitchell (1990), a sister, Rosemary Graves and a brother, Eugene Hill.

The Rev. Eric Andriot celebrated the Mass of Christian Burial.
