Mary Elizabeth Moore, 83, of Carrollton, KY., died on Saturday evening, October 18, 2008 in Carrollton, KY.
She was born in Willisburg, Washington County, Ky., on April 26, 1925 to Garnette Belt and Nina Mae Robinson Johnson, who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and member of the New Castle Christian Church in New Castle, KY.
Survivors include her daughter, Marie VanDiver and her husband Cecil of Carrollton, KY, a sister, Hazel Chowning of Louisville, KY, one niece and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The Rev. Anthony Pierce will officiate services on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Christian Academy of Carrollton in care of the funeral home.
