Mary Lou Stewart, of Carrollton, KY., died on Tuesday afternoon, December 30, 2008 at her residence in Carrollton, KY.
She was born in Carrollton, KY., the daughter of the late Buchanan Courtney and Emma Lou Adams Brindley. She was retired from Carroll County Memorial Hospital as a Respirator Therapist and also from Conn Organ Company in Madison, IN., as a Inspector. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Carrollton, Member of the Rebecca Lodge, Past Member of the English Homemakers, Eastern Star and Women of the Moose.
Survivors include three sons; Berry Stewart of Indianapolis, IN., Pat and Shannon Stewart both of Carrollton, KY., along with six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James "Jimmy" Stewart and one brother; William L. "Billy" Courtney
The Rev. Chris White officiated the service on Friday, January 2,2009 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Burial was in the I.O.O.F.Cemetery in Carrollton.
