Maurice Ferrell

Maurice V. “Jim” Ferrell, 86, of Dry Ridge, KY, died on Friday, January 4, 2019 in Ghent, KY.

He was born on January 17, 1932 in Covington, Kenton County, KY, the son the late William K. “Bob” Ferrell and Hazel (Miller) Ferrell.  He was a high school graduate of the Covington Schools and went on the work for Western Electric as a Electrical Box Installer, having worked in many different areas of the country.  After his retirement he and his late wife. Lillian spent a lot of time traveling.  During the summer you could find him tending to his garden or sitting under the shade tree.  He had spent eight years in the United States  Navy Reserves.

He will be missed by an aunt,  Fredricka Bingham of Dry Ridge, KY,  his extended family who cared for him over the last few years, Marty and Tina McIntyre of Ghent, KY, along with several niecesand nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Lillian (McIntyre) Ferrell on October 2015.
