Maxine Lou Ringwald, 79, of Florence, KY., formerly of Carrollton, KY., died on Sunday morning, November 15, 2009 at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, KY.
She was born on March 16, 1930 the daugther of the late Harry and Edith Vories Marker. Maxine was a retired factory worker and a former Wal-Mart Associate in Carrollton, KY.
She loved to Crochet and help people when ever needed, she would take people food that couldn't drive or was too sick to go out. She lived for her children, grand children and her great grandchildren.
She will be missed by her daughter; Wilma Duve of Florence, KY., her son Henry "Butch" Ringwald of Streator, IL., two step daughters; Sonora Jean Ringwald Summer of Madison, IN., and Anna Ringwald of Montezuma, IN., two sisters; Vereta Marker of Madison, IN., and Charlotte Hamilton of Hanover, IN., ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; D.D. "Ringy" Ringwald (2000), step-son; Glen Ringwald (1999), a grandchild; Victoria Lynn Peterson (2009)
Funeral Services were on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Howard Wade and Rev. Bobby Wade officitiang the service. Burial was in the Olean Cemetery in Olean, IN. Pallbearers were Paul Webster, Stan, Matthew, Chris and Chuck Ringwald and Larry Rabourn.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
