Michael Cutshaw, Sr.

Michael Lee Cutshaw, 73, of Carrollton, KY, died on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at the Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on August 12, 1948, in Madison, Jefferson County, IN, the son of the late Paul Aaron Cutshaw and Pauline Searcy Cutshaw Poindexter of Carrollton, KY.  Mike had retired from South Central Bell Telephone Company as a Service Crew Technician.  He served his Country honorably in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era, receiving the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal and Meritorious Unit Commendation.  Mike was a member of the First Baptist Church of Carrollton and the American Legion Post #41 in Carrollton.

Mike will be missed by his mother, Pauline Searcy Cutshaw Poindexter of Carrollton, KY, his son, Michael Lee Cutshaw, Jr. of Carrollton, KY, his brother, Myron (Cindy) Cutshaw of Carrollton, KY, two sisters, Marilyn (Fred) Hagerdon of Ghent, KY, and Nina Cutshaw Oney of Cape Coral, FL, and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Aaron Cutshaw on July 6, 2014, and his wife, Peggy O’Neal Cutshaw on April 19, 2016.
