Michael Plew

Michael Wayne “Mike” Plew, 75, of Worthville, KY, died on Friday, December 2, 2022, at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on October 3, 1947, in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY, the son of the late Albert Plew and Katherine (Baxter) Plew.   Mike had retired from Dow Corning Chemical Company in Carrollton as a Chemical Operator.  He had served his Country Honorably in the in the United State Marine Corps as a Sergeant, specializing in Radio Communications, during the Vietnam War Era and also at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina.

In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and playing golf.

Mike is survived by two sons, Todd Plew of Carrollton, KY, and Steven Plew of Ghent, KY, a sister, Bonnie Wilcox of Grayson, KY, two grandchildren, Caden Plew of Madison, IN, and Ethan Plew of Bedford, KY, and a great grandson, Raelyn Plew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Joyce Wilson Plew and two brothers, James, and Thomas Plew.

Cremation Services have been selected by the family with a Graveside Service on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.

The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
