Mildred Ogburn

Mildred R. Ogburn, 92, of Turners Station, KY, died on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at the Richwood Nursing and Rehab. in La Grange, KY.

She was born on April 28, 1926 in Turners Station, Carroll County, KY, the daughter of the late Jesse Smith and Della (Poe) Smith.  She was a homemaker and until her late husband’s death forty years ago had managed a trailer park in Carrollton with him.  She enjoyed working in the flower garden, shopping and going out to eat.  She was of the Baptist faith.

She will be missed by her brother, Arnold Ray Smith of Turners Station, KY, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Calvert Ogburn, her son, Terry Ogburn, six brothers, Jesse D. Smith, Paul C. Smith, Hayden Smith, Everett Lee Smith, Oliver Smith and Daniel Smith, three sisters, Kathleen Lewis, Zelma Black and Ollie Garrett Noe.

Arrangements have been entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
