Mrs. Charlsey Fishback

Mrs. Charlsey Walker Fishback, 78, of Carrollton, KY., died on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY.

She was born on March 13, 1933 in Pleasant Home, Owen County, KY., the daughter of the late Raymond and Ruby Williams Walker. She was a retired housekeeper for Riverbourne Medical Clinic in Carrollton. She had previously worked at the refreshment stand at New's Auction Center in Carrollton. She was co-founder of the Westside Volunteer Fire Department and had served on on the ladies Auxilliary for over 35 years. She was a member 0f the Carroll County Band Boosters and in the 1990's she was voted Carroll County Volunteer of the year.

She will be missed by her husband, Paul Fishback, Sr. of Carrollton, KY., her son, Paul Fishback, Jr. of Carrollton, KY., three daughters, Beverly (Terry) Hughes of Carrollton, KY., Valorie (Jim) Spencer of Louisville, KY., Lisa (David) McRoy of Louisville, KY., two sisters, Carolyn Bennett of Shelbyville, KY., and Janice Keith of Frankfort, KY., two brothers, Larry and Donald Walker of Owenton, KY., and one grandson, Joe Paul Hughes of Louisville, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Sara Ray Green and Nora Jane Robbins, three brothers, Vernon and Dale Walker and Jewell Dunavent.

Funeral Services will be on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Joe Kindoll officiating the service at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Carroll County Animal Support Group in care of the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Hotfil, David Corley, Jeff Root, Robert Lee, Dr. Cecil Martin and Ricky Cayton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tim Smith, Webbie Yocum, Larry Sharon and Kline Webster.

Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
