Mrs. Marion Benecke

Marion Patricia Benecke, 86, of Carrollton, KY., died on Monday, May 21, 2012 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton, KY.
She was born on March 17, 1926 in Brooklyn, Kings County, NY., the daughter of the late Frank and Florence (Thie) Springer. She was a former Hospital Admissions Clerk and had been a Literacy Coordinator for the Carroll County Public Library. She was a member of the St. John Catholic Church in Carrollton.
She is survived by six daughters, Roseann Dunlap (Bob) and Ann Holloway (Ron) both of Carrollton, KY., Joanne Thomas (John) of Boise, ID., Patty Ann Royal (Jeff) of Cary Plantation, ME., Mary Ann Kurtz (Tom)of Gulf Breeze, FL., and Sue McKamey (Mick) of Colstrip, MT., four sons, Frank Benecke (Allie) of Billings, MT., Mike Benecke (Laura) of Orangeburg, SC., Bill Benecke (Grace) of Flagstaff, AZ., and Woody Benecke of Portland, OR., twenty eight grandchildren and forty seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Eugene James Benecke on December 1987, a son, Gene Benecke in 2003, four brothers, Frank, Bill, Bob and Raymond Springer and one grandchild.
Mass of Christian Burial will on Friday, May 25, 2012 at Noon at the St. John Catholic Church with the Rev. Kavungal Davy officiating the service. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 24, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Rosary will be at 7:30 P.M. , Thursday, May 24, 2012 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Right To Life Of Northern Kentucky or Paralyzed Veterans of America. Envelopes will be available at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
