Myra Lou Browning, 80, of Carrollton, KY, died on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at the Signature Healthcare of Carrollton.
She was born on October 15, 1939 in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY, the daughter of the late James Samuel Browning and Eva Lena Wilson Browning. She had worked for the former Teledyne-Wirz Factory in Carrollton for over forty years. Some of the positions she held while working for Teledyne-Wirz included the packing department, quality assurance and inspection team member, upon her retirement she had worked in the shipping department as a shipping clerk.
She had been a member of the Carrollton Wesleyan Church for many years. She loved to travel, especially with her best friend and late travel partner, Zelma Baxter. She was proud to be a three time cancer survivor.
She is survived by a sister-in-law; Angel Browning of Korea, two Nephews; Charles (Ruby) Anderson of Carrollton, KY, and Leroy (Debbie Chipman) of Florida, five great nieces, three great nephews, seven great - great nieces and eight great - great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father in 1981, her mother in 1986, a brother; John Lee Browning in 2005, a sister; Lelia Francis Browning in 1966, a nephew; James Norman Anderson in 2004 and her best friend and travel companion; Zelma Baxter in 2019.
Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
