Myrdis Warren

Myrdis Waunetta Yager Warren, 88, of Louisville, KY., formerly of Carrollton, KY., died on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at the Golden Living Center in Louisville, KY.

She was born on February 18, 1921 in North Vernon, Jennings County, IN., the daughter of the late Clarence Victor and Kabie Beach Yager. Myrdis was retired from Wirz Tube Factory in Carrollton, KY., after 30 years of service. She was also a farmer and had previously worked for Carrollton Housing Authority. She was a member of Cove Hill Baptist Church and the Rebekah Lodge in Carrollton.

She will be missed by her daughter; Willena Jean Jones of Louisville, KY., and one grandson and his wife; Paul Roy and Renee' Jones of Louisville, KY., several nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceding her in death was her parents, her husband; Roy Arthur Warrren in Janaury of 1996, two brothers; William and Harold Yager, four sisters; Sarah Ann Bruner, Mabel Catherine Yager Pecar, Helen Yager and Samuel Corrine Apple.

Funeral Services were conducted on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Alzheimer's Association or the Golden Living Center. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
