Myrna Holloway

Myrna L. Holloway, 71, of Bedford, Trimble County KY, died on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at the Signature Healthcare Center in Bedford, KY.

She was born on November 1, 1943 in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, the daughter of the late Ted Wingham and Geneva Ginn Wingham. She was retired from Carrollton Federal Savings & Loan after 41 years of service. She was a devout Christian and touched many lives through church work and made handmade blankets for families who lost premature infants. She was a Southern Baptist and a Church Deacon for many years. She was a member of the Red Hat Society.

She is survived by her husband, W. C. "Doc" Holloway of Bedford, KY, to whom she married in February of 1962, a daughter, Cynthia Layne McNew of Carrollton, KY, a brother, Henry Franklin Wingham of Cincinnati, OH, a grandson, Joey Lynn McNew, Jr. of Carrollton, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery with Bro. Bob Young presiding over the Service. Burial was in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison, IN.
