Nancy Hoard

Nancy Lynn Ford Hoard, 72, of Pendleton, KY, died on Friday, June 26, 2020 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Frankfort, KY.

She was born on August 9, 1947 in Carroll County, KY, the daughter of the late Harvey Ford and Dorothy Lee Garrett Ford.  She spent most of her life as a homemaker and housewife, helping raise her large family.  She was a member of the English Baptist Church.  Some of her favorite hobbies included making crafts and sewing along with tending to a garden that she enjoyed raising.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Hoard, to whom she married on May 31, 1973, four son’s; Dennis Pyles of Elizabethtown, KY, Adam Hoard of Pendleton, KY, Joshua Hoard of Louisville, KY, and  Travis (Michelle) Hoard of Bedford, KY, five  daughters;; Kimberly (Todd) Mullikin of Milton, KY, Cristi (Charles) Rice of Pendleton, KY, Jeni Bradburn of Michigan, Jody Hoard of Carrollton, KY, and Niki Terry, two sisters; Linda (Robert) Riddle and Bonnie (Owen) Smith of Bedford, KY, twenty grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandchild and two great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.  Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the English Cemetery in Carrollton, KY.

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions and the new reopening requirements we will be limiting our building occupancy to 50% of normal capacity, so please be prepared for a possible line as we will be monitoring the occupancy.  We will also be strictly adhering to the 6 feet social distancing requirements.  We also request that attendees please wear a face covering if possible.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given for the family to assist with expenses in care of the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
