Nancy Harmon

Nancy Ross Harmon, age 86, of Carrollton, KY passed this life on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Hickory Creek at Madison, Madison, IN.  She was born in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY on February 28, 1933 to William Henry and Georgia Lee Mills Garrett.  Nancy was a member of Hopewell Community Church, was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, quilting, raising flowers and vegetables and trout fishing.

Survivors include: three daughters; Rhonda G. Smith of Bedford, KY, Connie F. Kemper of Bedford, KY and Lisa D. Chandler of Carrollton, KY, step-daughter; Lori Harmon of Missouri, a son; Richard H. Harmon of Bedford, KY and step-son; David Harmon of California,  a sister; Sue Mills Beverly of Bedford, KY, a brother; William David Garrett of Shelbyville, IN, two half-sisters; Peggy L. Blaney of Madison, IN and Judy Purkey of Harrisonville, MO, a half-brother, Alan Garrett of Madison, IN, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lorraine Miles “Tiny” Harmon in July 1995, a sister, Evelyn Garrett Stewart and a brother, Julian Garrett, three half-brothers; Nathan Garrett, Paul Garrett and Kennie Garrett.
