Nathan McClure, 83, died Wednesday morning at his residence in Carrollton, KY.
He was born in Turners Station , Henry County, KY., on November 7, 1922, the son of the late Nathaniel and Mattie Mae (Chilton) McClure. Nathan was retired from the former Belknap Hardware Company in Louisville, KY. He served his Country during W.W.II. and the Korean Conflict. He was Kentucky Colonel and a member of the First Baptist Church of Carrollton.
He is survived by his wife Ethel McClure, four daughters; Sharon Robbins of Frankfort, KY., Rhonda Harvey of Pierson, FL., Angela McClure of Frankfort, KY., and Natalee McClure Berkowitz of Louisville, KY., one son; Paul Hill of Pleasureville, KY., a sister; Lois Wallace of Madison, IN., and one brother; Ralph McClure of Madison, IN., eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
Nathan was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter; Linda Ebrecht, a son; Nathan James McClure, four sisters and two brothers.
The Rev. Chris White will conduct the funeral service on Friday morning in the funeral home chapel.
Arrangements have been entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
