Pamela Brightwell

Pamela Joe Brightwell, 64, of Carrollton, KY, died on Monday, December 27, 2021, at the Baptist Health in La Grange, KY.

She was born on May 19, 1957, in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY, the daughter of the late Richard Lee “Buzz” Brightwell and Vivian M. Sanders Brightwell.  Pamela had formerly worked as a caregiver at River Reed Assisted Living Center in Carrollton.  She was a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University receiving an Associate’s Degree in Childcare Development.

Pamela will be missed by her two son’s Mario Brightwell of Alexandria, KY, and Derrick Allen Brightwell of Hanover, IN, a daughter, Karla Bena Brightwell of Louisville, KY, three brothers, Jeffrey Wayne “Bodean” Brightwell of Carrollton, KY, Steven C. Brightwell of Clarksville, TN, and Timothy Earl “Tim” Brightwell of Carrollton, KY, three sisters, Vivian Lee Brightwell, Doris J. Ritchie and Juanita Marie Brightwell all of Carrollton, KY, and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Gary Newby.

Arrangements have been entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
