Patricia Lea Denton

Patricia Lea Denton, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2024, in Winter Haven, FL. She was born on December 22, 1933, in Fayette County, KY. 

Patricia led a fulfilling career and dedicated many years of service to National City Bank in their general bookkeeping department. Her meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment made her an invaluable member of the team.

Patricia was deeply devoted to her family. She is survived by her loving husband of many years, Foy Lee Denton. Theirs was a love story that stood the test of time - a partnership filled with shared experiences and unwavering support.

In addition to her husband, Patricia leaves behind two beloved daughters: Elizabeth "Libby" McGlothin of Lexington, KY and Mary Barboza of Winter Haven, FL. 

As a doting grandmother to five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and  ten great great grandchildren.

A graveside service to honor and celebrate Patricia Lea Denton's remarkable life will be held on February 9, 2024, at Lexington Cemetery in Lexington, KY. The service will commence at 1:30 PM, providing an opportunity for family and friends to gather and pay their respects. The cemetery's address is 833 West Main Street, Lexington, KY (40508).
