Patsy Helm

Patsy Ruth Helm, 70, of Turners Station, Carroll County, KY., died on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at the Baptist Hospital in Louisville, KY She was born on August 8, 1941 in Cynthiana, Harrison County, KY., the daughter of the late Virgil T. Henderson and Anna Clay Hart. She was one of the first Emergency Medical Technicians for Carroll County. She had also worked for Carroll County Memorial Hospital for many years as a Nurse's Aide. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was a member of the American Legion Post #41 Ladies Auxiliary in Carrollton and in her spare time she enjoyed sewing. She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Loetta Marlene Mikel of Turners Station, KY., her son, James Lawrence Helm of Bedford, KY., her brother, John Clay Gallagher of Warner Robins, GA., eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Virgil T. Henderson and Anna Clay Hart Gallagher, her husband, James Samuel Helm, two sons, Richard Allen Helm and Carl Wayne Helm, a brother, Charles Thomas Henderson. Funeral Services will be on Monday, July 9, 2012 at 1:00 P.M., at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. on Monday, July 9, 2012 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Ghent Masonic Cemetery in Ghent, KY. In Lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Patsy Helm Memorial funeral in care of the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. on Monday, July 9, 2012 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
