Paul Asher

Paul Corbett Asher, 80, of Carrollton, KY, died on Friday morning, December 3, 2021, at the Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on May 22, 1941, in Hyden, Leslie County, KY, the son of the late Malcolm Asher and Leona Brown Howard.  Paul had worked as a truck driver for many years, he most recently worked for Landstar Trucking Company. Paul served his Country proudly in the United States Army, having worked as a tank mechanic, stationed in Germany.  In his spare time, he enjoyed watching wrestling and sports on television.

Paul will be missed by his wife, Debbie Ingram Asher of Carrollton, KY, to whom he married on June 9, 2001, three son’s Neil Allen Asher and his wife, Tonya, of Gainesville, FL, Dwayne Asher and his wife, Diana, of Tipp City, OH, and Bryan Asher of Centerville, OH, a daughter, Tammy Asher Moore of Bellbrook, OH, three step-daughters, Teresa Ryan of Elkhart, IN, Elaine Howell and her husband, DJ, of Boston, KY, and Christy Beach and her husband, Danny of Shelbyville, KY, a sister, Barbara (Kenneth) Thacker of Fairborn, OH, twenty two grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Lonnie Dean Asher.

Arrangements have been entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
