Paul Dermon

July 28, 1941 — August 23, 2015

Paul Miller Dermon, 74, of Carrolton, KY, died on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at the Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on July 28, 1941 in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY, the son of the late Beverly Dermon and Margaret (Miller) Dermon. He had farmed early in his life until he was called into the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. He had worked in construction his whole life and for the last 25 years he had worked for the Dow Corning Chemical Company in Carrollton on the Service Crew. He was an avid University of Kentucky Basketball fan and was an avid Hunter. He was a member of the American Legion Post #41 in Carrollton.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Perkinson Dermon, of Carrollton, KY, four sons, Paul (Misty) Dermon, Jr. of Moorefield, IN, Tim (Vanessa) Dermon of Suzhou, China, Jerry (Angie) Dermon of Carrollton, KY, and David Dermon of Carrollton, KY, a daughter, Tracy (Barry ) Tinch of Owenton, KY, two brothers, Billy Dermon of Sanders, KY, and Bobby Dermon of Frankfort, KY, two sisters, Bertha New of Lebanon, OH, and Margie Beach of Carrollton, KY, fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Franklin B. "Frank" Dermon and a sister, Mary Ruth Ogburn.

The American Legion Post #41 will present Military Honors at the graveside.

Visitation

Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home .

Funeral

Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Carroll "Bimp" McAlister officiating the service.

Interment

Burial will take place in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton, KY.
