Paul Ogburn

Paul Sherman Ogburn, 81, of Carrollton, KY., died on Tuesday morning, June 19, 2007 at the Carroll County Regional Medical Center in Carrollton, KY.
He was born on March 22, 1926 in Carroll County, KY., the son of the late John Wesley and Lula Mae (Cook) Ogburn. Paul was a retired farmer. He served his country during World War II. in the U.S.Army.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Jean (Tingle) Ogburn to whom he married on April 4, 1953. Paul and Doris were blessed in there home with a daughter; Paula M. (Ogburn) Stewart of Warsaw, KY., and a son; Bradley D. Ogburn of Ghent, KY., three sisters; Emma Bailey of Frankfort, KY., Mary Ogburn of Louisville, KY., and Carrie Jones of Decatur, AL., six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers; J.W., Calvert, Stanley and Donald Ogburn.
Funeral Services were conducted on Saturday, June 23, 2007 with the Rev. Denny French officiating the service at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Burial followed the service in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
