Paula Jean Schirmer, 56, died on Saturday morning, September 10, 2011 at her residence in Ghent, KY.
She was born on August 18, 1955 in Carroll County, KY., the daughter of the late James Harlan and Joyce Evelyn Osbourn Welch. She was a cashier at the Rite-Aid Drug Store in Carrollton for past 15 years. She was baptized and a member of the Family Worship Center in Carrollton by Rev. Pat Butcher in 1992.
She will be missed by her husband, Scott Schirmer of Ghent, KY., and her daughter, Tara Roberts also of Ghent, KY., four grandchildren also survive her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one infant son, Christopher Scott Schirmer in 1971.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Gifts may be given to the American Diabetes Association or the Carroll County Relay For Life in care of the funeral home.
Funeral Services were on Monday, September 12, 2011 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. The Rev. Emory Eldridge officiated the service. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
