Pauline Bibb

Pauline Bibb, 85, of Carrollton, KY., died on Wednesday morning, November 4, 2009 at 4:35 A.M. at the St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit in Edgewood, KY.

She was born in Carroll County, KY., on Augusat 26, 1924 to Thomas and Martha Bibb Bibb. Pauline served as the church housekeeper at First Baptist Church of Carrollton where she was also a member.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her parents, five sisters; Addie Smith, Beulah Ligon, Tinia Hardesty, Ruth Ligon and Iva Thompson, three brothers; Gayle Bibb, Sylvester Bibb and Clyde Bibb.

The Rev. Chris White will officiate services on Friday, November 6, 2009 at the First Baptist Church of Carrollton. Burial will be in the Dallasburg Masonic Cemetery in Wheatley, KY.

Serving as pallbearers will be, Ike Smith, Albion Smith, Jimmy Hardesty, Harold Ray Hardesty, Howard Bibb Thompson and Thomas Scott Thompson. Honorary pallbearers will be Harry Brock, Don Paris and Rodney Ogburn.

Memorial Contributions may take the form of gifts to the family in care of the funeral home.
