Pauline Smith, 85, of Carrollton, KY., died on Sunday morning, March 31, 2013 at the Green Valley Health & Rehab. Center in Carrollton. She was a member of Whites Run Baptist Church where she was the pianist for many years. She was a homemaker and 1944 graduate of Carrollton High School.
Survivors include: two daughters - Anita L. (Larry) Wood of Campbellsburg, KY and Cindy (Ricky) Doss of Lawrenceburg, KY, a sister: Jean Mershall of Bedford, KY, three grandchildren - Stephanie Wood of Campbellsburg, KY, Laura Wood of Tipton, IN and Timothy Thornberry of Oklahoma City, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Raymond Smith (1969), a son: Raymond Carroll Smith (1956) and a brother: Leonard Smith (2006).
Funeral Services were on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. The Rev. Eric Newcomer officiated the services. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton. Memorial gifts may be made to Gideons International in care of the funeral home.
