Perry Southworth

Perry Lee Southworth, 87, of Carrollton, KY., died on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at the Baptist Hospital Northeast in LaGrange, KY.
He was born on October 20, 1921 in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY., the son of the late L.B. and Betty Jane (Sutherland) Southworth. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Cove Hill Baptist Church. He served his country in the U.S. Army during W.W. II.
Perry is survived by his wife Dorothy Mae (Bain) Southworth, a daughter; Bonnie Faye Campbell of Carrollton, KY., two sons; Perry D. and Mark D. Southworthworth both of Carrollton, KY., a sister; Ella V. Bird of Milton, KY., seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his 1st wife; Emma Catherine Southworth and two brothers; Leonard W. and James Southworth.
Funeral Services will be on Monday, February 23, 2009 at the 2:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Kindoll officiating the service. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton. The Carrollton American Legion Post #41 will present Military Honors at the Graveside.
In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial Gifts may be given to the Cove Hill Baptist Church.
