Phillip Ray Bromwell, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on the early morning hours of Monday, April 28, 2025, in his beloved hometown of Carrollton, Kentucky. He was born on November 14, 1945, in Carrollton, where he would spend his life cultivating deep connections within the community he cherished.

Phillip dedicated over four decades of his life to serving at A. T. & T. Telephone Company, working diligently as a lineman, installer, and repairman. His commitment to his career was matched only by his loyalty to his family and friends, who will remember him not just for his hard work but for the jovial spirit he brought to every interaction.

He was a member of Bramlette Baptist Church.

Phillip's time in the U.S. Army from 1965-1967 instilled in him a sense of pride and dedication that shaped his character. He served his country honorably, and his military service is a testament to his commitment to the values he held dear.

In addition to his career and service, Phillip was a man of many interests. He loved playing softball, hunting, fishing, and pitching horseshoes. However, his greatest joy came from spending quality time with his grandchildren, who were a significant source of pride and happiness in his life. He cherished moments shared with Jake, Dylan, Taylor, Braden, and Gracie, as well as with his great-grandchildren, Luke and Georgia.

Phillip is survived by his beloved wife, Helen Adams Bromwell, of Carrollton, KY, and their two sons, Brian Bromwell of Bedford, KY, and Dale Bromwell of Carrollton, KY. His legacy continues through his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will carry forward his memory.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Sallie B. Bromwell, as well as his brothers, Donnie and Charles Bromwell, and sisters Ailene Perry, Judy Bromwell, Janet Sue Satchwell, and Phyllis Carol Bromwell. The loss of Phillip is felt deeply, yet his life leaves behind an everlasting impact on those who had the privilege of knowing him.
