Porter Garrett| Sr.

Porter was born in Carroll County to William Edward and Bessie Raisor Garrett. His mother preceded him in death. He was retired from Kawneer Corp. and currently owned and operated Garrett's Garage in Sanders, KY and was a member of Open Door Baptist Church in Carrollton, KY. Porter also served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.

His survivors include his father, a daughter, Dreamer Darline Garrett of Sanders, a son, Porter J. Garrett, Jr and his wife Marie of Ghent, Ky, a brother, Robert Garrett of Ghent, KY and 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death also by 2 brothers, Arttie and Tommy Garrett.

The Rev. Jerry Ison will officiate services.
