Raymond Banks

Raymond E. Banks, 68, of Carrollton, KY, died on Friday, December 25, 2020 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on April 26, 1952 in Greensburg, Decatur County, IN, the son of the late Leonard Lee Banks and Mary Elizabeth Palmer Banks.  He had retired from the former Ato-Chem in Carrollton as a Chemical Operator.  He was of the Baptist faith and an avid University of Kentucky fan.

He served his Country Honorably in the United States Army, entering active duty on July 19, 1972 at Fort Sam in Houston, TX, serving in the Military Police Company for several years.

He is survived by his wife; Carolyn Meadows Banks of Carrollton, KY, a daughter; Ericka Supplee, and her companion; Bryan Bond of Owenton, KY, a sister; Margaret Kinman of Carrollton, KY, a brother; Ronald (Sheila) Banks of Carrollton, KY, two grandsons; Wyatt and Landon Supplee, and a granddaughter; Zoey Bond.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Doris Ellen Allen.

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions and the new reopening requirements we will be limiting the funeral home building occupancy to 50% of normal   occupancy.  We will also be strictly adhering to the 6 feet social distancing requirements and all attendees will be required to wear a face mask.
