Rev. Richard Mahoney

Rev. Richard C. Mahoney, 63, of Carrollton, KY, died on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at the Norton Suburban Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on May 2, 1952 in Frankfort, Franklin County, KY, the son of the late George Leonard Mahoney and Josie Dell Davis Mahoney. He had pastored at many church's and the most recent church he was at was the Apostolic Church in Nelsonville, OH. He and his wife had owned R & E Roofing Company. He was a member of the Carroll County Apostolic Church in Worthville, KY.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen G. Baker Mahoney of Carrollton, KY, to whom he married on October 3, 1970, a daughter, Lorrie Ann (Mike) Hayden of Carrollton, KY, a son, Shannon Dale Mahoney of Columbus, OH, two sisters, Rosie Lee Mack of Madison, IN, and Mae Dell Proctor of Carrollton, KY, along with eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Mary Kathleen Cannon and a brother, George Alfred Mahoney.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Carroll County Apostolic Church in care of the funeral home.

Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.

Visitation

Visitation will be from Noon - 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.

Funeral

Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Knox officiating the service.

Interment

Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
