Rhoda Mae Satchwell

Rhoda Mae Satchwell, 66, of Carrollton, KY, died on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at her home in Carrollton surrounded by her family.

  She was born on December 17, 1956, in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY, the daughter of the late George W. Lee, Sr. and Allene J. Mahoney Lee.  Rhoda had worked as a Personal Caregiver to the elderly at Twin Oak’ s Assisted Living.    She attended The Pentecostals of Carrollton and Daybreak Baptist Church.  Rhoda enjoyed bingo and various games along with U.K. Basketball and loved to spend time with her family.

  She is survived by her two daughters; Stephanie (Michael) Louden of Carrollton, KY,  and Desiree (Kevin)  Embs Of Shelbyville, KY, three sons;  Aaron Embs, Justin (Tia) Satchwell and Casey (Sharina) Satchwell, all of Carrollton, KY, two sisters; Evangeline Harsin of Verona, KY, and Sharon Lee of Carrollton, KY, two brothers; George W. Lee, JR., of Sparta, KY, and Lloyd E. Lee of Carrollton, KY, eighteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

  Rhoda was preceded in death by her parents, a son; Cory L. Satchwell, a sister; Deidre Ann Doolin, two brothers; Dwayne E. Lee and Michael A. Lee.
