Richard Dale Marshall, born on October 7, 1948, in Carrollton, Carroll County, Kentucky,  passed away on December 22, 2024, in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky. 

Richard served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era, stationed at Fort Knox. After his military tenure, Richard enjoyed a fulfilling career as a chemical operator at AtoFina, where he applied his expertise and work ethic. Beyond his professional life, he embraced the simple joys of life as a hobby farmer, finding peace and satisfaction in nurturing the earth.

Richard is survived by three brothers: Philip Brent (Sandy) Marshall, Spencer Keith Marshall, and Barry Neal (Dinah) Marshall, all of Sanders, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Richard and Mildred Washburn Marshall.  

Visitation will be held on December 27, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, located at 809 Highland Avenue, Carrollton, Kentucky 41008.
