Richard Sanders| Jr.

Richard Sanders, Jr., 51, of Bedford, KY., died on Friday morning, November 30, 2007 at the University of Louisville Hospital. He was born on November 2, 1956 at Ft. Bragg in Manchester, Cumberland County, North Carolina to Richard M. Sanders and Lula Mae Dempsey Sanders. He was a member of the Apostolic-Pentecostal Church of the Living God in Bedford, KY, a former employee of Butler Furnioture, Ky. Ladder, McDonald's and various Tobacco Farmers throughout the area and a U.S. Army Veteran.

Survivors include his wife - Patricia Ann Frazier Sanders, a daughter; Teresa Ann Combs of Madison, IN, two sons; Richard Martin Sanders of Carrollton, KY and James Walter Sanders of Bedford, KY, sisters; Stella Payton of Carrollton, KY, Sharon Neuner of Westport, KY, Frieda Arvin of Connersville, IN, Phyllis Sculley of Turners Station, KY, Barbara Adams of Bedford, KY, Paula Smith of Carrollton, KY, Joyce Downing of Shelbyville, KY and Jeani Rider of Carrollton, KY, brothers; Chester Payton of Carrollton, KY, Doug Dempsey of Worthville, KY and Mark Sanders of Carrollton, KY his father that raised him, James Dempsey of Carrollton, KY, five grandchildren and his biological mother, Lula Mae Dempsey Sanders of Cynthiana, KY.

Graveside Services were held on Monday, December 3, 2007 at the Eminence Cemetery with the Rev. Bobby Wade and Rev. Raymond Sharon officiating the service.

Military Honors were conducted at the Cemetery by Members of the Honor Guard of the American Legion Post #41 of Carrollton, KY.
