Richard Scott "Ritchie" Walls, 42, of Pompano Beach,, FL., died their on Saturday, March 26, 2005.
He was born in Carrollton, KY., the son of Carolyn Welch.
Richard was a former Iron Worker with the Iron Workers Union Local #272 in Miami, FL. He attended the United Methodist Church of Carrollton when he resided here.
Survivors include his mother; Carolyn Welch of Lighthouse Point, FL., two sisters; Heidi D. Nichols of Tequesta, Fl., and Bethany Anne Krehl of Amarillo, TX., his maternal grandmother also survives, Pauline Blankenship of LaGrange, KY. Other survivors include three nieces and one nephew, several aunts and uncles.
Richard was preceded in death by his step-father; Bryan Welch, paternal grandparents; Stuard and Nannie Welch, materanl grandfather; Noble Tilley, and one uncle; Joseph Tilley.
Memorial Gifts may be given to Carrollton United Methodist Church or Donors Choice in care of the funeral home.
Local Arrangements are being handled by the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
