Richard Willis

Richie Willis, age 48, of Worthville, KY., died at 2:00 A.M. Wednesday morning at St. Elizabeth Hospital Hospice Unit in Covington, KY. He was born in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY to George Washington and Mary Evevlyn Smith Willis who survive. He was a Street Department employee for the City of Carrollton and a member of Crossroads Church in Bedford, KY. Richie was an avid fisherman and University of Kentucky fan.

He is also survived by his wife - Ruby J. Tucker Willis, 2 step-daughters - Brandy Walters and Joni Hendren of Carrollton, KY, 4 sisters - Rhonda Reynolds of Bowling Green, KY, Betty Zwergel of Milton, KY, Karen Easton and Sandy Stump of Carrollton, KY, 2 brothers - Larry Willis of Ghent, KY and Kevin Willis of Milton, KY, his maternal grandfather - Ralph Smith of Carrollton, KY and 3 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents - James Martin & Beulah Virginia Willis, maternal grandmother - Nannie Smith.

The Rev. Larry Franklin will officiate services.

Memorial Gifts may be given to St. Elizabeth Hospice, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
