Richie Carter

Richie Lee Carter, 59, of Carrollton, KY, died on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at his home in Carrollton.

He was born on June 17, 1963, in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY the son of the late Donnie Carter and Glenda Beard.  Richie had worked for the Kroger Grocery Store in Carrollton for several years in the Stocking Department.  In his spare time, he enjoyed all types of sports.

Survivors include a beloved son that he raised as his own, Ean Simmons of Carrollton, KY, and a beloved daughter that he raised as his own, Jasmine Simmons of Carrollton, KY, a grandson, Elijah Spencer of Carrollton, KY, a brother, Martin Beard of Milton, KY, a sister, Carol Comeaux of Madison, IN, his stepfather, Wayne Beard of Milton, KY, and nephews, Michael Aldridge, Dylon Comeaux, Dason Comeaux, Aaron Beard and Mickenzey Beard.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
