Ricky O'Neal

Ricky O'Neal, 50, of Carrollton, KY., died on Saturday morning at the Carroll County Hospital in Carrollton, KY.

He was born in Carrollton, KY., the son of the late Ellis B. O'Neal and Julia Rivers (Jackson) O'Neal. Ricky was employed by General Butler State Park and Resort in Carrollton, working in the Maintenance Department. He was a member of the Ghent Baptist Church. In his spare time he enjoyed refinishing antique furniture.

Survivors include his mother Julia Rivers Jackson O'Neal of Carrollton, KY., a sister; Karen Boswell of Carrollton, KY., and one brother; Walton J. O'Neal of Raleigh, N.C., along with four nieces; Ashley, Brooke, Breeanna, Brittany and one nephew; Bryan.

He was preceded in death by his father who died on November 5, 2004.

The Rev. Graham Reynolds will officiate the funeral service on Tuesday morning in the funeral home chapel.

In Lieu of Flowers Memorial Gifts are suggested to the Ghent Baptist Church.

Arrangements have been entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
