Robert "Bob" Dailey, 55, of Villa Hills, KY., formerly of Carrollton, KY., died on Sunday, June 20, 2010 at the St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit in Edgewood, KY.
He was born on September 28, 1954 in Niles, MI., the son of Homer Eugene "Gene" Dailey and Margaret O'Connell Dailey. Bob was disabled and a former land surveyor. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the St. Joe's Catholic Church in Cold Spring, KY.
He will be missed by his wife; Jana Ryan Dailey of Villa Hills, KY., his mother; Margaret Dailey of Carrollton, KY., his daughter; Margaret Jane Dailey of Villa Hills, KY., his son; Jess C. Dailey of Villa Hills, KY., brothers; Mike(Julie) Dailey of Louisville, KY., and Larry (Jerraine) Dailey of Edgewood, KY.
He was precded in death by his father, a sister; Carol Dailey and a brother; James "Garth" Dailey.
Mass Of Christian Burial (Catholic Funeral) was on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at the St. Joe's Catholic Church, 4011 Alexandria Pike, Cold Springs, KY., with the Rev. Gerald Reinersman officiating the service. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
Pallbearers were Buddy Roe, Butch Wehrle, Ron Burns, Terry Linkugel, Jim Hilbert, Bill Hilbert, Dennis Flynn and Bruce Marois, his friends from the golf league.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial gifts are suggested to the Hospice of the Bluegrass Northern Kentucky or the United Service Organization (U.S.O.), P.O. Box 06322, Washington, D.C., 20090-6322 in care of the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
