Robert W. "Bob" Garrett, 64, of Ghent, KY., died on February 11, 2009 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital.
Bob was born in Ghent, Carroll County, KY to William E. and Bessie Raisor Garrett on September 8, 1944. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church and a former driver for Hill's Dairy and Tip-Top Sanitation and White Top Taxi Service.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ringwald Garrett, 6 daughters; Karen Tillette - Carrollton, KY, Lisa Arvin - Carrollton, KY, Bessie Garrett - Sanders, KY, Anna Perkins - Carrollton, KY, Sarah Jo Garrett - Ghent, KY, Teresa Garrett - Ghent, KY; 4 sons; Bernie Garrett - Worthville, KY, Robert C. Garrett - Carrollton, KY, Ben Garrett - Campbellsburg, KY, Ernest Garrett - Ghent, KY; his father, William Edward Garrett - Sanders, KY; 21 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Bessie Raisor Garrett and 3 brothers, Artie Garrett, Tommy G. Garrett and Porter J. Garrett, Sr.
Mass of Christian Burial was on Saturday, February 14, 2009.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
