He was a senior cook at General Butler State Resort Park in Carrollton, KY and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his best friend and caregiver; Annie E. Valentine of Carrollton, KY, a daughter; Christina Capps of Tampa, FL, a half sister and a half brother.
