Robert Phillips, 71, of Carrollton, KY., died on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at his residence in Carrollton. He was born on March 13, 1941 in Louisville, Kentucky, the son of the late Charles Lloyd Phillips and Evelyn Keith Phillips. He was a retired plumber. He will be missed by his wife, Linda Martin Phillips of Carrollton, KY, five sons, David Phillips of Russellville, KY, Daniel Phillips of Ghent, KY, Steven Phillips of Pensacola, FL, Martin Phillips of Raleigh, NC, and Tim Phillips of Salem, IN and by two brothers, Donald Phillips of New Castle, KY and Charles Phillips of LaGrange, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Jay Phillips and one sister, Mary Cook. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2012 from 5:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church of the Living God in Bedford, KY. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church of the Living God, 124 Smith Lane, Bedford, KY 40006. Burial will take place in the Bedford Cemetery, Bedford, KY. In Lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Apostolic Pentecostal Church of the Living God, 124 Smith Lane, Bedford, KY 40006. The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
