Robert Renschler

Robert Eugene “Bob” Renschler, 86, of Carrollton, KY, died on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton.

He was born on October 28, 1931 in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY, the son of the late Alfred Bernerd Renschler and Julia Ellen (Frost) Renschler.  He was retired from General Electric after 36 1/2 years,  working last in Quality Control Department.  He was a member of the St. John Catholic Church in Carrollton.

He is survived by two daughters, Sharon Dickow of Carrollton, KY, and Linda Renschler of  Westmoreland, TN, a brother, Alfred William “Alf” Renschler of Carrollton, KY, a sister, Julia “Sis” Schlie of Louisville, KY, four grandchildren, Ron Dickow of Carrollton, KY, Kristy, Art and Billy Woodall of Westmoreland, TN,  a great grandson, Jeffrey Dickow of Carrollton, KY, six nephews, John, Gary, David, Dennis, Kevin and Steven,  a niece, Becky.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Velma Adams Renschler,  and a brother, Lee Thomas “Tom” Renschler.

Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
