Robert Simmons

Robert Estal Simmons, 75, of Worthville, KY, died on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at the Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison, IN.

He was born on February 20, 1946 in Carroll County, KY, the son of the late Chester Wheeler Simmons and Virginia Breeden Simmons.  He had retired in 2009 from the Arvin Meritor Factory in Carrollton having worked on the production line for many years.  He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed working in his garden raising flowers and vegetables.

He will be missed by a sister; Wanda Jean Bergman of Carrollton, KY, and a niece who cared for him; Penny Maiden of Carrollton, KY.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers; Donald, James, Everett and Tommy Simmons and two sisters; Betty Taylor and Bonnie Cook.

The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
