Robert Thomas

Robert S. "Heavy" Thomas, 82, of Carrollton, KY., died on Wednesday evening, March 13, 2013 in Carrollton, KY.

He was born on April 27, 1930 in Carroll County, KY., the son of late John Thomas and Nettie Jones Thomas. He was a former Bull Dozer and Heavy Equipment Operator. He was a member of the Worthville Baptist Church.

He is survived by three sons, Rob Thomas of Worthville, KY., Troy and David Aldridge of Carrollton, KY, two daughters, Shelly Aldridge of Carrollton, KY., and Rhonda Mikel of Warsaw, KY., a sister, Roonie Johnson of Carrollton, KY., nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Sue Hoskins Thomas, two sons, Mike Aldridge and Jerry Craig,, two sisters, Marjorie Spenneberg and Emmie Tingle, and three brothers, Bill, Boss and Buddy Thomas.

Funeral Services were on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the Family Worship Center in Carrollton with Pastor Pat Butcher officiating the service. Burial was in the I.O.O.F Cemetery in Carrollton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the National Parkinson Foundation in care of the funeral home.
