Robert R. Willhite, 71, of Bedford, KY, died on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton, KY.
He was born on May 15, 1943 in Shelbyville, Shelby County, KY, the son of Raymond Willhite and Leona Holmes Willhite. He was retired from the FORD Motor Company, having worked at the Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville, KY. He was of the Christian faith and a member of the Middletown, KY, Masonic Lodge and the former Moose Lodge in Carrollton, KY.
He is survived by his wife, Erma Jo Tingle Willhite of Bedford, KY, a daughter, Odessa (Gregg D.) Gosman of Bedford, KY, a brother, Steve Willhite of Carrollton, KY, two grandchildren, Tabitha Gosman and Zoe Gosman of Bedford, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. with the Rev. Carroll "Bimp" McAlister presiding over the service at the General Butler State Park & Resort (Highway 227 Entrance), Carrollton, KY. A gathering of family and friends will be from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the park.
Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
