Robert Wilson, Sr.

Robert Anderson (Bob) Wilson, Sr., age 93, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at the Signature Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center of Carrollton.  He was born in Owen County, KY on September 17, 1928 to Roy B. and Mildred Scott (Riley) Wilson.  Bob retired after 65 plus years as a self employed carpenter and builder, owning Wilson and Reed Builders and Wilson Builders, Inc.  He was also a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the American Legion Post #41 – Carrollton, KY.

His survivors include his wife; Mary Jane (Ehalt) Wilson whom he married on July 18, 1951, a daughter; Beverly  (Alan) Harsin of Carrollton, KY, two sons; Robert A. “Bobbo” (Dianne Stockdale) Wilson, Jr. of Carrollton, KY and Mark Randal “Randy” (Teresa Thompson) Wilson of Carrollton, KY, a sister; Gypsy Oak of Clarksville, IN, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister; Julia Raisor and a brother; James P. Wilson.

No service is planned at this time due to Covid.
