Rocky Wilson, Sr.

Rocky Lane Wilson, Sr., 73, of Ghent, KY, died on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at the VA Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH.

He was born on October 10, 1948, in Owen County, KY, the son of the late Clarence and Mary Danner Wilson.  He had worked as a truck driver for many years before his retirement.  He was of the Baptist faith.

Rocky served his Country Honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.

He loved to watch history movies, play his X-Box and when his health permitted fish and hunt.

Survivors include his two sons, Rocky Lane Wilson, II. (Tammy) of Warsaw, KY, and Everett Todd Wilson (Donna) of Carrollton, KY, his brother, Larry Wilson of Sparta, KY, sisters, Clarice (Rainie) Wright of Sparta, KY, Myrtie (Kevin) Newman of Sparta, KY, and Teresa (Donald) Kunkle of Dry Ridge, KY, grandchildren, Reece (Jessica), Coy (Jessica), Gunner (Cree), Lucas, and Cole, great grandchildren, Adelyn, Dexter and Garrett, numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Patsy L. (Reece) Wilson on September 26, 2011.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
